Everyone runs outbound from the same three sources: Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and a ZoomInfo export. Which means everyone is emailing the same people, and those people are exhausted.
The highest-reply campaigns I run all share one trait: the list came from somewhere the competition never looks. Restaurant directories like Slicelife and Toasttab. App Store review pages. Google Maps by search query. Product directories like Product Hunt and GetLatka.
Why untapped sources win
These prospects are rarely on LinkedIn and almost never in Apollo, so their inboxes aren't scorched by cold email. A relevant message lands as a pleasant surprise instead of the tenth pitch that day.
The workflow
Scrape the directory with Apify or SerpAPI, resolve domains to verified emails with a waterfall (Prospeo, then fallbacks), and run a reverse prompt to infer job titles the source doesn't expose. Qualify each row with an AI prompt before it ever enters a sequence.
The result is a list that is smaller, harder to build, and dramatically more responsive than another Apollo export.
